Fire Detection and Alarm Specialist - Electrical and Mechanical Engineer

A company specializing in Fire and Gas Detection Systems and Fire Protection is seeking a DACI PROJECT ENGINEER to work in Surco.

Job Summary: A professional responsible for managing construction projects, controlling costs and budgets, and ensuring reliable information flow to support decision-making. Key Highlights: 1. Manages projects, changes, requirements, and operational reports for construction sites. 2. Controls materials, labor, budgets, and valuations. 3. Develops and implements cost management systems. **I. JOB FUNCTIONS:** * Studies and understands all project drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents. * Manages project changes and promptly informs Production Managers and other involved departments. * Manages "Information Requests". * Submits the site's Monthly Operational Report to the Operations Management Department after review with the Resident Engineer and Project Manager. * Maintains control over change orders, providing the Resident Engineer with supporting quantity take-offs and schedule extension estimates based on the Gantt chart. * Prepares and submits the Weekly Site Report to the Project Manager upon approval by the Resident Engineer and Project Manager. * Controls materials, labor, budgetary schedules, and reports periodically after approval by the Resident Engineer and Project Manager. * Prepares budgets for additional or modified work. * Prepares contractual and additional valuations, ensuring proper handling and confidentiality of company-sensitive information required for such tasks. Also requests accounting documents for tracking and monitors financial progress. * Implements technical documentation archiving. * Supports preparation of the final project report. * Manages and publishes site-related information, including the construction schedule, S-curve, project background, and instructions. * Participates in warehouse inventory control through the Warehouse Management Software. * Generates Material Requisition Orders, Purchase Order (PO) approvals, and associated invoices via the Warehouse Management Software. * Associates subcontractor invoices and valuations, as well as concrete-related invoices and valuations, within the Warehouse Management Software. * Safeguards and tracks updated correspondence—both incoming and outgoing—with clients and subcontractors. * Develops and implements a cost management system that ensures reliable information flow for decision-making. * Leads on-site cost control, valuation, and billing monitoring. * Analyzes and redesigns cost management practices according to the project phase. * Supports budget preparation, cost control, and cost tracking. * Monitors and evaluates contractor requirements, verifying the accuracy of their variations. **II. POSITION PROFILE** **Education and Training** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. * Advanced proficiency in S10, Presto, or similar software (as applicable). * Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. **Work Experience** * Minimum of 3 years performing similar duties. **Organizational Competencies** * Commitment. * Goal-oriented mindset. * Teamwork. **Specific Competencies** * Effective communication. * Leadership. * Decision-making and problem-solving. * Technical capability. * Administrative capability.
