Main Responsibilities 1. Design of Transmission Lines and Substations ≥60kV 2. Prepare electrical calculation reports (insulation, short circuit, thermal, safety clearances, protection coordination). 3. Design single-line diagrams, control, protection and metering schematics, as well as SAS architecture and telecommunications systems. 4. Develop detailed electrical drawings: equipment layout, conduits, grounding grid, cable routing, and electromechanical assembly. 5. Perform electrical studies (load flow, short circuit, protection selectivity, insulation coordination, grounding). 6. Prepare technical specifications and minimum data sheets for power equipment. 7. Integrate electrical engineering with civil, mechanical, control, and instrumentation disciplines. 8. Justify design criteria to technical coordinators, project managers, and clients. 9. Apply and enforce TIP's technical standards, procedures, and national and international regulations. 10. Ensure technical documentation is delivered complete, consistent, and within established deadlines. 11. Participate in cross-project technical reviews and in the updating of corporate design standards. Requirements Licensed and qualified Electrical Engineer. Minimum of 4 years of experience in transmission line and substation design ≥60 kV. Experience in electrical projects for the mining or industrial sector. Proficiency in software: DIgSILENT, CYMGRD, ETAP, AutoCAD, MS Project. Solid knowledge in protection systems, SCADA, SAS, and electrical automation. Knowledge in medium voltage networks is desirable.
