





If you want to be a key member of the marketing \+ engineering team, making sure that we're building our tracking systems to the highest standards, and getting detailed, reliable, actionable insights about our audiences so we can serve them better, all while gaining vast, practical hands\-on experience, then this Marketing Engineer position is the right opportunity for you. **What You’ll Be Doing (Job Tasks)** * Own and implement **tracking** across our frontend (Webflow, JS snippets), backend (PHP), and automation stack (GTM, Meta Pixel, etc.) * Work closely with the CEO to understand **high\-level marketing goals** * Translate vague or loosely defined **ideas** into concrete, scoped tracking implementations * Apply **best practices** and make clear implementation suggestions * Tweak and QA **JS snippets and event tracking** across our site, funnels, and widgets * Ensure **data flows** correctly into our analytics tools and platforms: CAPI, GTM, etc. * Add **backend** hooks and logic (PHP) to capture events and customer actions server\-side * Help maintain **attribution** integrity across touchpoints, including CRM and ad platforms * Manage **split test** tracking integrations across marketing tools * (Nice\-to\-have) Write **SQL** queries to explore data and build funnel or campaign dashboards in Grafana **Requirements** * Understanding of GTM, Meta CAPI, Google Ads, and general **web attribution** practices * Experience with **marketing funnels**, ideally Direct Response * Solid **JavaScript** skills, especially in\-browser tracking and event handling * **PHP** fundamentals: you can hook into backend logic and write some code * Experience with **CMS** (like Webflow) and **JS widgets** (e.g. Typeform, Calendly) * Excellent written and verbal **English** communication * Strong sense of **ownership** and ability to work independently with vague or partial specs * Comfortable **aligning data** between frontend, backend, and external systems like HubSpot and Intercom * Leveraging **AI tools** (e.g. ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate implementation and problem solving **Nice\-to\-have** * Experience with n8n, Zapier or similar low\-code **automation tools** * **SQL** experience for ad\-hoc queries and funnel validation * Dashboarding/**visualization** experience with Grafana or similar * Familiarity with **MixPanel** or similar product analytics tools * Basic familiarity with **GCP** services * Exposure to **Video** Marketing **Our Tech \& Tooling Stack** * **Frontend**: Webflow, React SPA App * **Backend**: GCP, Basic PHP 8, Node.js * **Tracking \& Attribution**: GTM (client \& server), GA4, Meta Pixel/CAPI, Google Ads * **CRM \& Automation**: HubSpot, Intercom, Chargify, Stripe * **Data \& Analytics**: BigQuery, MySQL, Grafana, MixPanel, PostHog (for marketing analytics only) * **Widgets**: Typeform, Calendly **Who You Are (Personality Type)** * **You’re a translator between marketing and code:** you ask the right questions, fill in gaps, and get things done. * **Biased toward shipping fast.** You deliver in small, valuable chunks. * **Breaking down ambiguous requests?
