At **Protiviti Perú**, a global consulting firm, we are looking for a **COBOL/RPG Developer** with experience in payment systems to join a strategic **credit card payment gateway** project. **Role Objective** Integrate and maintain payment gateway flows (e-commerce/POS) with the credit card **core system** on mainframe **z/OS (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2\)** and/or **IBM i (RPG IV/ILE)**, prioritizing performance, security (**PCI DSS**), and availability. **Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain COBOL (batch/online) and/or RPG programs for card modules (authorization, clearing, reconciliation, chargebacks). * Configure and support **VisionPLUS** (CMS/FAS/TRAMS) and other components related to credit cards. * Implement and consume payment gateway integrations (API/ISO 8583\) with acquirers, issuers, 3DS 2\.0, and fraud prevention. * Design and optimize JCL jobs, CICS transactions, DB2 queries, and critical batch processes. * Manage production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and conduct (unit/integration) testing. * Produce technical documentation and coordinate with security, operations, and business teams. **Essential Requirements** * 3\+ years of COBOL development experience on z/OS (JCL, CICS, DB2\) and/or RPG IV/ILE on IBM i (AS/400\). * Experience with **VisionPLUS** (preferably in credit card modules). * Knowledge of **ISO 8583**, payment messaging, and payment gateway flows (authorization, capture, settlement). * Proficiency in TSO/ISPF and mainframe versioning/release tools (Endevor, Changeman, or others). * Understanding of **PCI DSS**, encryption/tokenization, and payment security. **Work Mode and Conditions** * **Arrangement:** Hybrid (one weekly on-site day in Lima, coordinated with client). * **Contract:** 3 months, with possible renewal. * **Availability:** Immediate or short-term.
