**General Job Description** The Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and optimizing all pastry department activities. They will plan daily and weekly production, assign tasks to staff, ensure product quality, and coordinate order preparation for both Arzuka and Polo Norte. Additionally, they must analyze production times, optimize costs, and ensure efficient use of human and material resources. **Main Responsibilities** * Coordinate and supervise the bakery production team. * Delegate daily tasks to staff, ensuring compliance with quality and presentation standards. * Plan production according to internal (Polo Norte) and external (Arzuka) orders. * Monitor the efficient use of supplies, materials, and labor time. * Track inventory levels and department requirements. * Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and good manufacturing practices. * Prepare production reports including waste, yield, and operational times. * Propose improvements in processes, recipes, and production techniques to optimize costs and increase profitability. * Coordinate with administrative and procurement departments for supply purchases or replenishment. * Support internal training sessions for the pastry team. **Requirements** * Technical or professional degree in **Gastronomy, Pastry, Industrial Administration, or related fields.** * **Minimum of 1 year of experience** supervising production or pastry departments. * Knowledge in **waste control, recipe standardization, and cost analysis.** * Ability to lead teams, delegate responsibilities, and motivate personnel. * Basic proficiency in office tools (Excel, Google Sheets) and inventory management. * Desired knowledge of **batch or chain production processes.** **Key Competencies** * Leadership and effective communication. * Organization and planning. * Teamwork. * Results and efficiency orientation. * Ability to quickly resolve operational issues. * Sense of responsibility and commitment.
