We are looking for a **Data Engineer** with extensive experience in the complete lifecycle of information solutions development, including analysis, design, development, certification, deployment, and maintenance, in OnPremise environments and Big Data technologies. The ideal candidate must demonstrate solid expertise in database optimization and a proactive approach to overcoming technical or process limitations, ensuring robust, efficient solutions aligned with best development practices. Leadership and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams to accelerate goal achievement will be highly valued. **This is a remote position in LATAM,** where you will be assigned to one of our most important clients in the financial/banking sector in Latin America. You will work in an agile environment with an outstanding team implementing world-class software products. **Requirements** ### **Experience** * + Relational and NoSQL databases, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Data Lakes, and Lakehouse design. + Distributed processing with Hadoop, Spark, and batch/streaming architectures. + Development in Python, Scala, or Java, applying Clean Code principles. + Building pipelines with ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, SSIS). + DataOps/MLOps strategies and CI/CD deployment. * **Desirable:** Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Big Data, and experience with modern architectures such as Data Mesh or Data Fabric. ### **Responsibilities** * Design and develop data solutions aligned with the Data Architecture vision. * Create and optimize ETLs, ELTs, and APIs for efficient data handling. * Implement testing strategies to validate functional and non-functional quality. * Propose continuous improvements in data processes and products. * Resolve technical incidents and document solutions according to standards. * Mentor and support onboarding of new team members. ### **Tools and Technologies** * Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, Hadoop, HDFS. * Cloud Services: AWS, Azure, GCP. * Languages: Python, Scala, Java. **Benefits** A long-term stable contract.
