Responsibilities Ensure that laboratory staff comply with the Laboratory Guidelines, Standards and Procedures Manual, Sample Collection Manual, and other official documents related to laboratory operations. Perform sample collection Verify patient information. Inform patients about preparation prior to testing and confirm that patients arrive under appropriate conditions. Instruct patients on the collection method for certain types of samples Prepare sample collection materials. Collect blood samples from all types of patients, including neonates and arterial gases. Enter patient data into the reception system Record client service transactions Requirements: Degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology Minimum one year of experience in sample collection required Experience in collecting samples (arterial gases, neonates, oncology, screenings) required Pleasant demeanor when interacting with all types of patients.
