




JOB FOR PROJECT IN AREQUIPA UNDER HONORARIUM RECEIPT (1 MONTH, RENEWABLE) Purpose: Supervise and coordinate the activities of technical personnel within the workshop, ensuring quality, safety, efficient use of resources, and compliance with deadlines for assigned tasks. Functions: 1\) Plan and organize daily workshop activities according to the production plan. 2\) Supervise the work of technicians, mechanics, welders, electricians, assemblers, turners, and trainees. 3\) Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of PPE in the workshop. 4\) Verify that work complies with drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards. 5\) Coordinate with the technical office area regarding manufacturing drawings and procedures. 6\) Control the appropriate use of machinery, tools, and workshop equipment. 7\) Review daily progress and prepare production reports for the operations manager. 8\) Manage material and supply requirements with logistics. 9\) Identify and report deviations in time, quality, and resources. 10\) Supervise compliance with preventive maintenance procedures for workshop equipment. 11\) Ensure order, cleanliness, and organization in work areas. 12\) Provide induction and technical guidance to trainees and new workers. 13\) Resolve immediate technical issues and support staff in executing complex tasks. 14\) Participate in coordination meetings with operations and other departments. 15\) Promote continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and good workshop practices. 16\) Prepare daily and weekly technical reports on progress, incidents, and resources used on site. 17\) Perform other duties inherent to the position and/or assigned by General Management or immediate supervisor. Relationships: Internal relationships with Project Coordinator, technicians, welder, mechanical technician, mechanical leader, mechanical turner, mechanical assembler, workshop trainee. External relationships with project supervisors (when applicable). Competencies: * Mastery of fabrication and assembly processes. * Personnel management and workload distribution. * Ability to ensure quality and production timelines. * Operational discipline and organization. Performance indicators: * Work order completion rate (%). * Workshop rework levels (%). * Compliance with safety standards (% of observations). * Material usage efficiency. Minimum requirements: * Mechanical Engineer or similar. * Minimum 2 years of experience in metal-mechanical workshops. * Knowledge of welding, cutting, and assembly. * Basic knowledge of quality control and OHS.
