The Cuna Niñita María of the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd is seeking an early childhood education assistant. **Who are we?** We are a contracted IEI that serves children aged 1 and 2 years. We operate under the Early Education Approach, promoting care, autonomous activity, and free play, as regulated by the Ministry of Education. **Requirements** \- Academic qualification: Must have completed at least the seventh (VII) cycle of pedagogical or university studies in Early Childhood Education, and provide proof of enrollment. \- Continuing education: Training completed within the last five (5) years, with a minimum duration of fifty (50) hours. The training must cover the following topics or their equivalents: * Early childhood development * The approach of initial education: concept of the child, principles guiding educational practice. * Developmental characteristics of children under 3 years of age. * Care as an opportunity for children's learning. * Autonomous activity and play in children's learning. * The role of the adult in children's development and learning. * Observation as a technique for gathering information on girls' development. * Strategies to address diversity in educational services. * Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the public and/or private sector as an early childhood education assistant. \- Basic computer skills, including Canva and other platforms. \- Soft skills: teamwork, flexibility, communication and active listening, empathy, among others. \- Availability of time to receive training and professional development. \- Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Salamanca, Ate district.
