We are Visso, a Peruvian company dedicated to the design and manufacturing of furniture for offices and homes. We are currently looking for: MECHANICAL DESIGNER Responsibilities: * Coordinate with the commercial department regarding customer requirements, preparation and review of sheets * Coordinate with the logistics department when new materials or accessories are requested * Create designs and manufacturing drawings * Export and distribute documentation: Cutting lists, edging and CNC, outsourced drawings, RMS * Develop prototype designs as specified by management * Execute 2D, 3D designs and drawings for metal and melamine production areas * Support on-site measurements at client facilities in Lima and/or provinces * Assist production staff with any questions regarding developed drawings * Develop special cutting plans that do not go into machining * Manage activities such as identification, contacting suppliers, information research, setting parameters, and other tasks necessary for proper calibration and verification of measuring instruments * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor Requirements: * Technical studies in Drafting, Industrial Design, Mechanical Technician, Architecture undergraduate, or Mechanical Engineering * Basic level proficiency in Office software * Intermediate level proficiency in AutoCAD is essential * Advanced level proficiency in Autodesk Inventor software is essential * 2 years of experience in similar positions * Availability to work in San Juan de Lurigancho from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm Benefits: * Payroll inclusion with all statutory benefits * Career progression opportunities * Profit sharing payments * Corporate discounts Employment type: Full-time Salary: S/.3,000.00 per month Application questions: * Please indicate your work experience duration in similar positions * Do you have experience operating industrial machines and tools such as cutting machines, CNC, etc.? * Please state your level of proficiency in AutoCAD * Please state your level of proficiency in Inventor software * Do you have knowledge of Revit Architecture or SketchUp?
