**Important Information** Location: Peru Work Mode: Remote **Job Summary** As a **Senior SDET Data (17862\)**, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high\-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross\-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Lead end\-to\-end dbt testing by creating mocked and expected datasets across bronze, silver, and gold layers. * Analyze engineering and analytics requirements to define testing scope, strategy, and coverage for each sprint. * Collaborate with business stakeholders and data teams to understand testing needs and ensure clear communication of priorities within the scrum team. **Qualifications and Skills** * 7\+ years of experience in Quality Engineering roles with a solid understanding of testing strategies and best practices. * Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, BI tools, and data validation techniques. * High proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python for data\-focused testing. * Experience working with version control systems and collaborative development workflows. * Familiarity with data pipelines, dbt, and data modeling practices across bronze, silver, and gold layers. * Experience with Databricks, cloud environments, and containerized workflows such as Docker. * Exposure to automation testing frameworks and the ability to design or extend custom test cases. * Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and other visualization tools. * Understanding of data governance, compliance standards, and process optimization opportunities. **About Encora** Encora is a global company that offers Software and Digital Engineering solutions.
