**General Description**
Technical assistant responsible for providing support in calibration, verification, and adjustment activities of measurement equipment and instruments.
Their role is to ensure compliance with established procedures, properly document results, and contribute to maintaining the laboratory’s metrological traceability.
Works closely with specialized technical staff, complying with quality standards and requirements such as ISO/IEC 17025.
**Requirements**
* Engineer or Technician in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or related fields.
* Basic knowledge of quality standards applicable to laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025).
* Prior experience in calibration or metrology laboratories is desirable.
* Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word) and quality management systems.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Register OTICs for Calibration and/or Maintenance services in the laboratory’s activity schedule.
* Record the assigned metrologist for executing the calibration item.
* Send calibration certificates to customers.
* Send instrument receipt/shipment records to customers.
* Prepare equipment and instruments for calibration processes.
* Support calibration execution according to internal procedures and technical standards.
* Manage inventory of reference standards, materials, and consumables.
* Verify compliance with environmental conditions required for calibrations.
* Collaborate in preparing calibration certificates and reports.
* Strictly comply with quality, safety, and good laboratory practice standards.
* Record and verify the receipt and shipment of standards, auxiliary equipment, and tools.
