INDEXUM is looking for a PCM APPLICATIONS ENGINEER **Requirements** * Education: Bachelor's degree or licensed professional title in electrical engineering, electronics, or mechanical-electrical engineering. * Experience: Minimum of 3 years in roles as a protection and control specialist, applications engineer. * Proficiency in Office software * Language: Basic to intermediate English **Knowledge** * Protection systems in transmission and generation substations. * Protection relay testing. * High and medium voltage electrical substations. * Electrical circuits and electrical panels. * Electrical safety in low-voltage installations. * ***Basic programming (C\+\+, C\#, Python, DigSilent, Matlab, etc)*** Responsibilities * Develop test protocols for FAT, SAT, and energization of electrical substations within protection and control systems. * Conduct FAT, SAT, and energization tests for electrical substations in protection and control systems. * Prepare procedures and work plans for carrying out activities during FAT or SAT tests. * Review protection and SAS engineering drawings. * Participate in technical meetings, either internally or with clients, to identify project requirements and identify new business opportunities. * Supervise field personnel under their responsibility when applicable. * Deliver internal training on protection systems, software usage, and relay testing. * Pursue continuous improvement and professional development by participating in training provided by the company. * Provide technical support to customers. * Supervise contractors regarding testing and commissioning services. * Participate in field activities according to service needs and the corresponding department's work schedule.
