What you will do As a Field Service Engineer, you are the essential link between technology and practice. Your work is vital to the success of our clients. These are your key responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair machines and systems. Analyze and resolve malfunctions so everything runs smoothly again. Work with various clients and sectors, both nationally and internationally. Collaborate with a team of specialists and advise clients on technical solutions. What your day looks like 07:30 The Field Service Engineer starts the day by reviewing the schedule and checking tools and spare parts 08:00 Arrives at the client site, performs diagnostics, resolves malfunctions, carries out maintenance, or takes the first steps in a new installation. 12:30 Lunch break 13:00 Continues service activities or proceeds with the next step in the installation 15:30 Brief consultation with the client regarding progress and/or resolution of the issue. 16:30 Updates reports and reviews the schedule for the next day 17:30 Returns to hotel to prepare for a pleasant dinner with colleagues What we offer you? What do you bring? We are looking for a passionate technologist with: * Completed MTS/HTS education in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering, preferably with experience as a Field Service Engineer. * Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC software, as well as Office systems and reporting skills. * Excellent communication skills and strong command of Dutch and English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus. * A flexible and proactive attitude: you’re a team player and ready to travel, even for extended periods. What does the application process look like?
