We are CHUCAS CARGO, a company in the cargo transportation sector with nationwide coverage. We have a modern fleet and a team committed to efficiency and compliance. We are seeking a **Fleet Manager** to help us optimize our logistics and operational processes. **Main responsibilities:** * Plan, coordinate, and control preventive and corrective maintenance of the fleet. * Manage the purchase and monitoring of fuel, spare parts, and tires, ensuring traceability and optimal cost. * Maintain a technical history for each unit (by license plate) with date records of repairs, part replacements, and tires. * Create and update a fleet control dashboard. * Record and monitor mileage and fuel consumption per unit. * Generate and analyze performance KPIs: kilometers per gallon (Km/Gal). * Identify deviations in consumption or performance to propose corrective actions. * Supervise and keep fleet documentation up to date. * Implement and execute daily checklists for units entering and leaving the base. * Detect accidents, damages, or missing equipment (safety cones, wheel chocks, blankets, poles, etc.). * Manage inventory of safety tools and accessories for each unit. * Coordinate with the transportation, maintenance, and operations teams to minimize the number of idle units. * Report weekly performance indicators to the immediate supervisor. * Promote a culture of operational discipline and adherence to fleet standards. Requirements: * **Education:** Technical or university degree in Automotive Mechanics, Industrial Engineering, Transportation, Logistics, or related fields. * **Experience:** At least 3 years managing transportation fleets (cargo trucks or heavy logistics). Experience in maintenance control, spare parts, and fuel consumption management. * **Technical skills:** Basic automotive mechanics and interpretation of technical reports. Experience with dashboards (Excel, Power BI, or other tools). Vehicle documentation and insurance management. * **Desirable:** Driver's license **A-IIb or higher**. * **Competencies:** Organization and operational discipline.
