Join our team as a **Safety Engineer**. **Your Mission** Provide support in achieving SHEQ objectives and build professional competencies to lead work teams, thereby developing and strengthening a prevention culture to ensure safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work—aligned with applicable standards, procedures, and policies under Peruvian legislation and Epiroc’s requirements. **What Will Be My Responsibilities?** * Support the SHEQ Supervisor and/or Safety Engineer in complying with safety, health, and environmental regulations, respecting current legal provisions. * Review and maintain documentary control over Epiroc’s and the client’s SHEQ management. * Coordinate, implement, and verify compliance with the Annual SHEQ Training Program. * Advise operational teams on legal safety matters. * Actively participate in scheduled meetings held by safety and operational departments. * Prepare the monthly safety performance report for the contract. * Propose improvements to Integrated SHEQ Management. * Availability to work under non-standard schedules. **Ideal Candidate for This Position:** * Degree: Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Safety and Occupational Health Engineering (Required, licensed or registered). * Specialization in Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment (Desirable). * Basic/Intermediate English. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment within mining or similar companies. * Knowledge of interpreting ISO standards. * Familiarity with legislation: Law No. 29783\-2011, Supreme Decree No. 024\-2016 EM and its amendments, Environmental Legislation, among others. * Valid A2A or A2B driver’s license. **Work Location:** San Gabriel **Everything Starts with People.** The world needs metals and minerals for the energy transition, and our cities and infrastructure must expand to serve a growing population.
