A leading mining industry consulting firm is looking for top talent to join its team as an Electrical Designer Main Functions * Review information provided by the client. * Coordinate with different departments the development of 2D designs or 3D software-based designs as required, preferably using BIM methodology. Work on the company's network. * Develop 3D designs and layouts for the electrical discipline, coordinating with relevant departments and disciplines. * Produce engineering drawings for all stages of the electrical discipline, applying the corresponding drafting standards. * Prepare instrumentation drawings and P\&IDs (Desirable). * Provide support in final design and 3D model development. * Assist in preparing electrical quantity takeoffs. * Update master drawings and engineering standards. * Perform designs using Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar design software. * Coordinate with designers from other disciplines to produce drawings. * Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. Requirements: * Graduate of a technical program in technical drawing, industrial design, machine design, or related field. * Specialization in AutoCAD (mandatory). * Minimum of 1 year of experience as an electrical designer.
