Job description: * Manage and control the entire import process from start to finish. * Coordinate with suppliers, customs agencies, carriers, and other internal departments (logistics, finance). * Prepare and process necessary documentation for customs clearance. * Track shipments and communicate with stakeholders to report order status and arrival updates. * Coordinate with Finance for payments to foreign suppliers and cargo release. * Analyze costs and market trends to ensure operational profitability. * Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies and regulations. * Record information in relevant systems and maintain updated control files (cost analyses). **Profile** Degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, or related fields, with experience in import processes and handling customs documentation, as well as advanced English proficiency and expert-level Excel skills. **Education and Experience** * **Education:** University degree in International Business Administration, Foreign Trade, from San Marcos, Lima, or ESAN universities. * **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in administrative procedures related to foreign trade; experience in customs agencies and the retail or bulk purchasing sector is desirable. * **Additional studies:** Postgraduate diploma in Foreign Trade, Procurement Management, or similar is an advantage. **Technical Skills** * **Documentation:** Preparation and management of customs documents (customs declarations, invoices, etc.). * **Systems:** Proficiency in SADA system and other foreign trade information systems. * **Tools:** Advanced Excel skills. Proficiency in Starsoft **Regulations:** Knowledge of customs regimes and current regulations governing imports. **Soft Skills** * **Communication:** Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English. * **Negotiation:** Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to achieve optimal cost\-benefit outcomes. * **Analysis:** Analytical ability to interpret market and cost data. * **Proactivity and problem-solving:** Proactive mindset, anticipate risks, and propose effective solutions. * **Organization:** Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on processes in an organized manner.
