Transportation Assistant

Job Summary: Assists in loading, unloading, sorting, and transporting waste, ensuring safety and compliance with procedures in all operations. Key Highlights: 1. Loading, unloading, and conditioning of waste. 2. Assisting in the collection and transportation of solid waste. 3. Compliance with safety regulations and teamwork. REQUIREMENTS * Experience in stowing, loading, and unloading tasks. * Prior experience in operational and/or transportation tasks (Desirable) * Availability to travel outside Lima approximately 3 to 4 times per month. * Availability to work overtime when required by operations. * Responsibility, commitment, and willingness to work as part of a team. * Compliance with safety regulations and procedures. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform loading and unloading tasks for waste and transported materials. * Assist the driver during solid waste collection and transportation operations. * Securely and properly arrange cargo for transport according to established procedures. * Assist in the collection, transfer, and delivery of waste along the assigned route. * Verify that waste is correctly sorted, labeled, and conditioned for transport. * Assist in weighing and controlling waste during operations. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the loading area, tools, and workplace. * Assist in preparing and organizing materials and tools required for the service. * Report any incident, damage, unsafe condition, or irregular situation detected during operations to the driver or immediate supervisor. * Comply with safety, occupational health, and environmental procedures, correctly using assigned PPE.
