Identifies hazards, evaluates risks, and proposes control measures. Investigates incidents, leads corrective actions, and trains personnel to foster a preventive culture. Additionally, conducts periodic inspections to ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with established procedures. **Job Responsibilities:** * Implement the safety plan, conduct inductions, verify compliance with environmental protocols, and manage work permits. * Identify hazards in the work area, assess associated risks, and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate them. * Ensure that risk control measures and safety protocols are properly followed. * Investigate workplace accidents and incidents and establish necessary corrective actions. * Train staff on safety, health, and environmental topics, and motivate them to comply with regulations. * Conduct periodic inspections to verify the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with procedures. * Other duties as assigned by management. **Qualifications and Experience:** * Graduated professionals in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Environmental Engineering. * Minimum verifiable 10 years of experience in similar roles. * Desirable experience in Mining and/or Steel Industry. * Specialization in SSOMA and knowledge of current national regulations. * Leadership and management skills, including effective communication, ability to motivate and train staff, and decision-making. * Residing in Lima or Chimbote is desirable. * Teamwork skills, flexibility, adaptability, responsibility, and commitment. * Availability to work on-site: Chimbote (Ancash, Peru) on rotating shifts and atypical 14x7 schedule.
