




**ABOUT THE COMPANY:** A leading retail company with nationwide presence is seeking a **General Manager of Distribution** with proven experience in comprehensive logistics management, distribution center operations, and strategic leadership focused on efficiency and customer service. **POSITION DESCRIPTION:** The General Manager of Distribution will be responsible for directing, planning, and optimizing all the company's logistics and distribution operations, ensuring compliance with service levels, operational profitability, and satisfaction of internal and external customers. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Design and implement the company's distribution and logistics strategy, aligned with corporate objectives. * Lead distribution center operations, ensuring efficient management of storage, transportation, and dispatch. * Optimize logistics processes through the implementation of technological tools and continuous improvement methodologies. * Supervise inventory management and ensure product traceability from warehouse to point of sale. * Control operating costs and ensure adherence to allocated budgets. * Define performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency of distribution operations. * Coordinate with procurement, sales, operations, and customer service departments to ensure an efficient logistics flow. * Ensure compliance with safety, transportation regulations, and quality standards across the entire supply chain. * Lead, train, and motivate the distribution team, promoting a high-performance and committed culture. * Report directly to the General Management or Board regarding results and strategic improvement proposals. **REQUIREMENTS:** * **ESSENTIAL:** Minimum of 8 years of experience leading logistics or distribution operations in retail companies * Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields. * Specialization or master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management (desirable). * Extensive knowledge in logistics planning, warehouse management, transportation, and inventory control. * Proven experience in implementing ERP systems and logistics management tools. * Leadership, negotiation, strategic analysis, and decision-making skills. * Results-oriented, continuous improvement, and customer service focus. * Availability to travel and supervise operations nationwide.
