**Role Objective:** Support the blasting process by operating auxiliary equipment to ensure it is carried out as efficiently and safely as possible. **Main Responsibilities:** * Inspect equipment at the start and end of each shift, completing required documentation. * Transport equipment and materials to and from the blasting area. * Use equipment in its various configurations to cap blast holes and/or transport material, adhering to specified sequences. * Perform measurement, priming, stemming, and loading support for blast holes. * Assist in unloading raw materials and explosives on site and at the explosives magazine. * Report hazardous situations to the relevant supervisor. **Requirements:** * High school diploma mandatory. * Minimum two years’ experience in blasting operations preferred. * Minimum one year’s experience transporting explosives and/or auxiliary equipment preferred. * Minimum two years’ experience operating an explosives van preferred. * Valid A2B driver’s license mandatory. * Certification in auxiliary equipment operation preferred.
