Job Summary: Continuous observation to detect incidents, operation of video surveillance equipment, and preparation of detailed reports. Key Highlights: 1. Coordination and response to security threats **CCTV Job Responsibilities:** * **Active Monitoring:** Continuously observe screens to detect incidents, accidents, intrusions, or unsafe conditions. * **Coordination and Response:** Immediately communicate with on-site physical security personnel, police, or emergency services upon detecting a threat. * **Equipment Control:** Operate cameras (pan, zoom, tilt) and video surveillance software. * **Recording and Reporting:** Prepare logs and detailed reports on all incidents occurring during the shift. * **Preventive Maintenance:** Verify proper functioning of hardware (cameras, monitors, hard drives) and report failures to the IT department. * **Evidence Handling:** Store, archive, and label video clips for use as evidence in police investigations or judicial proceedings.
