




**General Responsibilities:** * Operate and program CNC lathes to manufacture metal parts. * Verify the precision and quality of machined parts. * Make adjustments and corrections to CNC lathe programs as needed. * Maintain and clean machines to ensure proper operation. * Comply with safety and quality standards in the workshop. **Specific Responsibilities:** * Interpret technical drawings and specifications to develop turning programs. * Set cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to optimize machining times. * Perform dimensional inspections to verify part accuracy. * Document completed work and maintain updated records. * Collaborate with the workshop supervisor to optimize production times. * Identify and report technical issues with CNC lathes. * Participate in continuous improvement of machining processes. * Apply efficient cutting techniques to reduce material waste. **Minimum Job Requirements:** * Technical degree in Production Mechanics, Mechatronics, or related field. * Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and programming CNC lathes. * Knowledge of blueprint interpretation and G and M codes. * Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360\). * Certification in CNC machine operation (desirable). **Skills:** * Precision and attention to detail. * Organization and time management. * Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical problems. * Teamwork and collaboration. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
