Position: **Nursing Technician\-Telephone Support and Triage** **Vacancy (1\)** Mission: Establish guidelines and responsibilities for nursing technicians in charge of receiving and managing telephone calls related to medical inquiries, telephone triage, case prioritization, notification to the medical team, and appointment scheduling for refugee individuals, ensuring efficient, empathetic, and safe care. Requirements: · Graduated Nursing Technician. · Minimum one year of experience in first aid, triage, community health, or humanitarian settings. · Experience as a telephone operator. · Knowledge of working with humanitarian organizations (essential). · Experience working with refugee populations (not essential). Functions: · Provide timely and respectful telephone support to refugees seeking medical guidance or consultation. · Conduct telephone triage to determine priority level and type of care required. · Refer cases to the medical team according to triage classification. · Schedule medical appointments based on availability and case urgency. · Record and document each call in established institutional systems or records. · Ensure confidentiality and protection of personal and health data.
