**Job Opening:** **Rock Drill Operator – Mining Project** Corporación Grupo Sur del Perú SAC is looking for a **Rock Drill Operator** with **proven experience operating hydraulic drilling equipment**, to work at the **Tía María Mining Unit**. The position requires a professional with solid knowledge in **drilling access routes, ramps and platforms**, as well as in operating **Junjin or Soosan Rock Drill equipment**. **Requirements:** * **Minimum of 3 years' experience** as a **Rock Drill Operator** (verifiable with certificates or work records). * Desired specific experience with **Junjin, Soosan or similar equipment.** * Experience in **drilling for access roads, platforms and mining civil works.** * Technical knowledge in **basic mechanics, drilling parameters, and air and pressure control.** * Ability to read drilling blueprints and comply with blasting area specifications. * Commitment to **safety, organization, and proper care of assigned equipment.** * **Availability to work under a 14 x 7 schedule.** * Residence in **Arequipa, Moquegua or Tacna** is desirable. **Main Responsibilities:** * Operate **Rock Drill equipment (Junjin, Soosan or equivalent model)** according to established technical and safety parameters. * Carry out **drilling operations on access routes, ramps and platforms**, following instructions from the supervisor or drilling and blasting resident. * Daily verify the **operational status of the equipment** (fluid levels, filters, hoses, hammer, compressor, etc.). * Promptly report **mechanical failures or anomalies** to the maintenance or supervision team. * Assist in the **installation and removal of air and water hoses**, and in leveling the working terrain. * Maintain **order and cleanliness** in the drilling area and assigned equipment. * Comply with **safety, environmental and operational procedures.** **Working Conditions:** * **Salary:** S/4,100.00 (MYPE regime: half bonus, CTS and vacation pay). * **Schedule:** 14 x 7. * **Work Location:** Tía María Mining Unit. * **Camp:** Accommodation and meals provided (breakfast, lunch and dinner). * **Contract Duration:** 4 months, with possibility of extension to other projects. * **Position Type:** Full-time.
