SUPERVISOR TECHNICIAN ROCK TOOLS Position Purpose:* Provide comprehensive technical support to the Supervisor and Client of Drilling Steel Contracts. Functions:* Meet the performance indicators of the Work Plan in the assigned Tools Contract. * Apply and implement controls for drilling accessories: marking and sharpening of drill bits, recording time and drilling efficiency. * Accurately, transparently, confidentially, and securely perform monthly valuation of consumed drilling accessories. * Timely submit reports on premature discard of drill steels to be included in the valuation (control of breakage and wear of drill steels). * Submit monthly KPI reports for each drilling accessory to the Client and Sandvik Management at the end of each month. * Report and maintain drill steel stock levels at the mining unit. * Maintain accurate inventory records and send weekly Kardex reports to the Inventory Planner. Requirements:* Graduate Technician in Mining Operations, Mining Geology, Heavy Machinery Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering or related fields; or Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines. * Minimum of 2 or more years of experience in similar positions. * Availability to travel to other provinces. * Intermediate level of English language proficiency (desirable).
