Constant coordination to ensure on-time deliveries **DISTRIBUTION ASSISTANT REQUIRED:** A leading company in the sector, located in **Comas**, is looking for a proactive and organized professional to fill the position of **Distribution and Transportation Assistant**. **Position Profile:** * **Education:** Technician graduate in Logistics Administration, Operations Management, or Transportation; or university student (from the 8th semester onward) in Industrial Engineering. * **Experience:** Minimum of 6 months to 1 year in distribution, dispatch, or routing processes. * **Knowledge:** Intermediate-level Excel proficiency and experience with logistics management software (or GPS systems). * **Competencies:** Strong planning ability, negotiation skills with transporters, and problem-solving capability. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Scheduling:** Plan and optimize daily distribution routes to reduce time and costs. * **Documentation:** Manage logistics documentation (dispatch guides, manifests, and settlements) prior to truck departures. * **Monitoring:** Track vehicles in real time during transit and resolve any operational incidents. * **Control:** Maintain up-to-date logistics performance indicators (KPIs) for deliveries and manage in-transit inventory control. * **Coordination:** Maintain constant communication with the warehouse department and drivers to ensure timely deliveries. **Benefits:** * **Compensation: S/ 1,300.00 to S/ 1,550.00 monthly (subject to evaluation).** * **Formal employment contract from day one, including all statutory benefits** * **Profit-sharing, if applicable.** * **Employment modality: Renewable contract with full formal employment registration from day one (statutory benefits).** * **Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.** * **Opportunity: Excellent work environment and career progression path within the operations area.** Salary: S/.1,550.00 \- S/.1,600.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
