In Peru, we operate in most economic sectors such as mining, agriculture, and fishing, forming part of the value chain of their products and services. **Job Description** We are seeking a Metallurgical Process Assistant to join our team at the SGS laboratory in Callao, Peru. In this role, you will support our metallurgical processes and contribute to the efficient operation of our laboratory facilities. Key responsibilities include: * Carry out sample preparation, including crushing, grinding, inventory management, drying, homogenization, splitting, and sample transportation. * Support the execution of metallurgical tests. * Perform granulometric analyses to determine particle size distribution. * Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of laboratory tasks. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. * Document test results and prepare reports using Excel and other relevant software. * Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment. * Perform other similar duties as assigned by the Employer or immediate supervisor according to operational needs and requirements. **Requirements** * Graduate of a technical program or bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or Chemistry. * Minimum of 3 months of experience in similar activities. * Knowledge of mineral processing. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in sample handling and data recording. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. * Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturdays when necessary. * Physical ability to handle laboratory equipment and materials. * Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement. **Additional Information** * Official employment from day one. * Legal Life Insurance. * Ongoing training opportunities. * Corporate agreements.
