Our **Machinery** team is looking for a **Rental Mechanical Technician Level II** to join Inchcape Peru. The purpose of this role is to provide theoretical and technical support to the Rental business fleet customers according to established processes and service guidelines, ensuring operational continuity and thus customer loyalty.
**What you will do**
* Perform evaluation and/or diagnosis of equipment failures (engine, transmission, differential, hydraulic, hydrostatic systems, etc.) to ensure timely intervention
* Prepare evaluation and/or repair reports for equipment to maintain accurate records of all services performed and generate potential claims to the manufacturer
* Ensure proper execution of preventive maintenance on equipment to guarantee compliance with manufacturer-recommended standards and maximum mechanical availability
* Carry out repair work on transmission, electrical system, hydraulic system, differentials, and engine faults (according to evaluation report) to return inoperative equipment to service as quickly as possible
* Generate condition monitoring reports (based on time and operating hours) to ensure subsequent preventive maintenance execution
* Identify and request spare parts using manufacturer software/manuals to ensure timely supply
* Continuously propose improvements to optimize the management of preventive, corrective, predictive, and other maintenance activities
**About you**
* Completed technical education in Automotive Mechanics
* 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles
* Knowledge in diagnosis, evaluation, and repair of electrical systems, diesel engine faults, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic systems, transmissions, and material handling equipment
* Class AI driver's license (Essential)

* Execute all required system tests according to predefined evaluation parameters to verify proper functionality and achievement of intended system objectives.
* Coordinate with IST (integration software testing) and UAT (user acceptance testing) teams the certification testing activities for developed applications to ensure their quality.
Regarding documentation:
* Comply with administrative procedures and defined programming and documentation standards for information system development.
* Ensure preparation of necessary documents supporting different phases of the information system development lifecycle.
* Implement the system considering the creation and distribution of complete system documentation, as well as training activities for involved personnel for system deployment, including Help Desk.
* Approve and keep updated system, operational, and user manuals related to information systems deployed into production.
User support:
* Support lead users and internal client relationship managers in defining information system requirements.

Incidents:

Position Objective:
To keep equipment, machinery, and environments of the club in operational condition by performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities on electrical systems, equipment, and controls, ensuring their proper functioning.
