Weibel Norway is expanding! At Weibel we have a long and proud history of developing and manufacturing advanced radar systems in for customers across most of the world. We have developed a new best\-in\-class surveillance radar that is setting new standards globally. As a result there is a growing demand for our systems and we are now looking to hire 3 additional software developers in order to increase our capacity for new deliveries. Software development with focus on platform and on signal processing Our software development is organized around agile SCRUM teams, each dedicated to specific product capabilities rather than individual projects. These teams operate within a matrix organization, spanning five software domains, and collaborate closely to deliver a comprehensive software suite. We follow a release\-train model, where software is delivered continuously and bundled into optimized releases, requiring close coordination across teams and domains. You will become one of our specialists in a team of experienced and dedicated software and signal processing engineers. We do not expect you to already be an expert in radar technology. We are ready to invest in your training as long as you have the drive, energy and ambition. **Your primary tasks will be to:** Design, develop, test and document software modules for our new surveillance radar. Produce specifications, unit tests, test procedures, documentation, etc. Contribute to platform development especially focused on network, data integration, and cybersecurity. Contribute to design, implement and optimize new algorithms in CUDA Participate in demos and integration efforts with 3rd parties. You will be based at our Oslo office and as we work closely with our colleagues in Denmark, you can look forward to travelling 20\-30 days per year, primarily 1\-2 day\-trips to our HQ in Copenhagen. You have a university degree within software engineering, computer science or similar and experience working with software development as a part of an agile Scrum team. **Furthermore, your professional background comprises:** At least 5 years of experience with architecture, design, implementation and testing of software modules Ability to develop code according to requirement specifications Experience with C\+\+ and Linux mandatory Experience with CUDA, Qt, Git and JIRA highly desirable Experience as a SCRUM master is an advantage Good English skills, written and spoken Your new team Our team in Norway consists of 13 highly competent and dedicated colleagues, and we work closely together with the rest of Weibel’s software teams with approximately 65 developers across the different teams.
