That’s what it means to live The Gallagher Way. **Overview** The Senior Actuarial Analyst will be responsible for performing and reviewing actuarial calculations for pension and insurance clients, primarily based in the U.S. and U.K. The role involves preparing financial reports, benefit calculations, and regulatory filings, in close collaboration with international teams. **How you'll make an impact*** Perform actuarial calculations for Defined Benefit pension plans. * Prepare actuarial valuations, cost estimates, and financial reports under FASB, IAS19, and US GAAP standards. * Support the preparation of regulatory filings such as IRS Form 5500, PBGC submissions, and Annual Funding Notices. * Validate and process data in actuarial and financial models. * Participate in special projects such as retiree cash\-out calculations, required minimum distributions (RMD), and actuarial factor analysis. * Collaborate with onshore consultants to resolve data and project\-related queries. * Assist in preparing client materials and attend meetings when required. * Stay up to date with international regulations and actuarial best practices. **About you** Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. * Master’s degree in Actuarial Science or international certification (SOA, IFoA) is desirable. * Progress in actuarial exams (minimum 2 passed) is required. Experience: * 2 to 5 years in actuarial roles, preferably in pensions, insurance, or consulting. * Experience working with international clients (U.S. or U.K.) is highly valued. Technical Skills: * Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with actuarial tools such as ProVal, Relius, or similar. * Knowledge of FASB, IAS19, and US GAAP standards. * Exposure to OPEB/PRM plans is a plus. Soft Skills: * Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2/C1\) – essential for communication with international teams and clients. * Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational ability, and teamwork. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
