We know how to make things happen and know that our people are always the source of our success. **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Cloud Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our cloud\-based database systems across platforms such as AWS, Azure, SQL Server and Postgres. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability of our cloud data infrastructure while supporting development and operational teams. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, implement, and manage cloud\-native and hybrid database systems (e.g. MSSQL, AWS RDS, Aurora, Azure SQL, etc.) * Monitor and optimize database performance using AWS\-native tools such as CloudWatch, Performance Insights, and Enhanced Monitoring. * Perform regular maintenance tasks including backups, updates, patching, and performance tuning. * Monitor database performance and proactively address issues related to availability, latency, and reliability. * Set up alerting, logging, and incident response protocols for database performance and availability. * Implement security measures, including encryption, access control, and compliance with data governance policies * Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to design scalable and efficient data models * Support disaster recovery planning and execution * Manage database migrations, upgrades, and deployments. * Provide 24/7 support for critical production systems as needed **Required Skills \& Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 6 \+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, with at least 2 years in a cloud\-based environment (preferably AWS). * Strong expertise with AWS RDS, Aurora, AzureSQL and related services. * Hands\-on experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure. * Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages * Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or other RDBMS/NoSQL databases.
