A leading company in the concrete industry is looking for top talent to fill the position of Safety Engineer REQUIREMENTS: * Graduate and licensed in Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, Industrial Engineering or related fields. * 3 years of experience in underground mining in similar positions. * Knowledge of occupational health and safety management systems. * Availability to work in Arequipa under a 14x7 work schedule. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure the existence of annual safety plans and programs and verify their compliance. * Develop emergency response programs. * Organize evacuation drills and simulations. * Develop training programs for occupational health prevention. * Implement environmental procedures and specific safety standards. * Keep the project's risk assessment and environmental aspects up to date. * Permanently verify the stock and quality of personal protective equipment and items. * Prepare reports on work procedures (safety, environment) for specific high-risk project activities. * Coordinate and conduct environmental condition measurements. * Advise middle management on substandard acts and hazardous conditions during task execution, as well as specific cases not included in the procedure library. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of competence.
