An opportunity has currently been generated to join SNC\-Lavalin Perú S.A. as an Intermediate Project Control Engineer within the Mining and Metallurgy division. **Position Purpose**: Responsible for contractor project control, reporting directly to the Project Control Area Manager. Will have support from the construction team to carry out their duties. **Responsibilities:** * Supervise contractor project control management in accordance with client standards; * Develop cost and schedule scenarios for change request approvals and project baselines; * Responsible for reviewing and validating contractor measurements and valuations, maintaining historical data for these; * Participate in daily and weekly meetings related to the contract; * Assist the contract administration team with contractor claims and/or requests; * Review project extras and trends; * Prepare and justify backcharges for contractors; * Track occurrence logs and quantify associated costs and time impacts; * Prepare weekly and monthly service reports; * Generate various reports using Power BI; * Other responsibilities related to the position. **Requirements**: * Education: University degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related fields. * Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the industry. * Experience in cost control and project planning within mining. * Field project control experience in civil works, electro\-mechanical installation, hydraulic supervision and/or mining project construction. * Knowledge of PMBOK and AACE standards. * Advanced Power BI (reporting and KPIs for client presentations). * Software: Advanced Excel, Advanced Primavera P6 (essential). * Availability to work under an 8x6 schedule. * Preferably residing in areas near the city of Moquegua. **Process:** * Applications must be submitted directly through our corporate career portal; applications via other channels will not be accepted. * We will only contact candidates selected for an interview. * Relocation expenses are not covered.
