




**POSITION MISSION:** Supervise the work of professionals and external consultants in the field of Electrical Engineering, coordinating with Project Leaders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality development of engineering activities across conceptual study, pre-feasibility, feasibility, and execution phases (detailed engineering, construction, commissioning), meeting industrial safety, environmental (MASSC) and applicable standards. **FUNCTIONS:** Supervise the work of professionals and external consultants in the field of Electrical Engineering, establishing a resource allocation plan and monitoring and control system for various projects according to established priorities, technical specifications, and project standards. Develop and update design criteria, electrical drawings related to their specialty within the project portfolio, as well as internal work procedures and discipline-specific standards. Supervise the proper execution of activities within their specialty according to established commitments, coordinating with relevant departments of the main contractor, end-user areas, and construction teams. Provide timely reporting on the status of their discipline throughout the project portfolio development, offering support during execution phases using monitoring and control tools. Control expenses and costs of activities under their discipline. In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to build, develop, and operate the large-scale copper project Toromocho. The Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine that a Chinese company has fully executed and developed from the beginning overseas. It is located in the district of Morococha, Yauli province, Junín department, at over 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant that processes approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important companies within China Copper and the largest wholly-owned foreign subsidiary of CHINALCO. Requirements Graduated and professionally registered Electrical Engineer. Minimum of 8 years of general experience, including 4 years in the mining sector and 3 years in a similar position. Intermediate level English proficiency. Intermediate skills in AutoCAD and Excel. Class A1 driver's license.
