**Job Opening: SSOMA Engineer** Corporación Grupo Sur del Perú SAC is seeking an SSOMA Engineer with experience in mining unit operations. **Requirements** * **Minimum of 3 years of general experience** in related positions. * University degree in **Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Mining Safety Engineering**, or related fields. * **Experience in mining units in drilling, blasting, and explosive loading projects (mandatory)** * **Residence in Arequipa, Moquegua, or Tacna** **Responsibilities** * Implement and supervise safety protocols. * Conduct safety inspections and report any incidents or risks. * Develop and update emergency and contingency plans. * Prepare weekly and monthly safety-related reports. * Train personnel in safety and emergency procedures. * Coordinate with the safety team to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. * Conduct incident investigations and recommend corrective actions. * Maintain up-to-date safety records and documentation. **Working Conditions** * **14 x 7 work schedule** * Work location: Tía María Mining Unit. * Accommodation provided within the mining unit. * Meals covered by the project. * Salary: **S/ 3,000 to S/4,000** * Type of contract: **MYPE** (half-year bonus, CTS, and vacation benefits) * Contract duration: 7 months or longer Position type: Full-time Salary: S/.3,000.00 \- S/.4,000.00 per month Application Questions: * Are you willing to work under a 14 x 7 schedule? * What is your salary expectation considering the MYPE contract (half-year bonus, CTS, and vacation benefits)?
