




Main Purpose: Founded in 2004, Catalina Huanca Sociedad Minera S.A.C. is a private company located in the district of Canaria, province of Fajardo, Ayacucho region. It operates an underground polymetallic mine extracting zinc, copper, and lead, using various mining methods depending on geological conditions and types of veins or deposits present. The extracted ore is processed at the San Jerónimo Beneficiation Plant with a capacity of 2,600 tons per day. In the Graduate Program at Catalina Huanca Sociedad Minera S.A.C., candidates will gain a comprehensive understanding of all operational areas, creating future development opportunities within the Trafigura mining group. The Trainee Program lasts one year, beginning in January 2026 and ending in December 2026. They also coordinate with machinery operators and operations personnel to schedule and carry out preventive or corrective maintenance tasks. They collaborate with the warehouse department for spare parts and material control. Additionally, they work closely with the safety team to ensure all work is performed under safe conditions. They may interact with suppliers or contractors for the repair of specialized equipment. These interactions enhance their practical experience and understanding of mechanical operations within the mine.
