We are looking for our next Drilling and Blasting Engineer at Geoblast Peru! What will be your mission? Provide technical advice on blasting operations. Propose new alternatives in blast design, use and handling of explosives. Conduct training and workshops according to different stakeholder groups. Prepare technical and performance reports related to drilling and blasting activities. Update, manage, and process information related to assigned tasks. Know and apply the Internal Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. Maintain order and cleanliness of tools used as well as the work area. Propose engineering improvement opportunities to optimize drilling and blasting performance. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in the technical P\&V area in open-pit mining. Proficiency in P\&V design software such as OpitBlast, BlastLogic, JKsimblast. Intermediate-level proficiency in MineSight mining planning software. Solid knowledge in design of Control and Production Drilling and Blasting. Ability to analyze P\&V database information. Knowledge in near-field and far-field vibration modeling. Preferably residing in Moquegua or southern regions of the country. Benefits Competitive market salary.
