Main Purpose: Coordinate and plan the implementation of projects in the mine area, complying with safety and environmental procedures and standards, in order to ensure that work is carried out according to established standards. Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:* Plan, organize and control the management of the Planning Area * Develop and control the short- and medium-term Mining Plan. * Develop and control the monthly and quarterly Production and Progress Program. * Participate in the development and control of daily plans, weekly and monthly production plans. * Evaluate the technical-economic feasibility and control exploration, development, preparation and exploitation projects. * Develop mining design. * Design the mining method. * Design blast hole patterns for long-hole drilling. * Supervise compliance with various safety and environmental protection procedures and standards across different processes. * Define productive processes with objectives and targets to be met by the Planning and Surveying area. * Evaluate and control mining costs. * Issue work orders, review IPERC, conduct inspections of personnel under their supervision. * Report to the Planning Manager and Operations Management Requirements* 2 years of experience in related positions * Degree: Mining Engineering, University graduate and titled * Ability to work in an atypical shift system (14X7) Key Relationships and Department Overview: The Planning Engineer coordinates and plans the implementation of projects in the mine area, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and productivity standards. Maintains constant coordination with operations, maintenance, geology, and safety departments to optimize resources and meet mine plan objectives. Collaborates with contractors and suppliers to ensure availability of required services and materials. This role operates within the Mine Planning Department, focused on operational efficiency and sustainable development of mining activities.
