SUPERVISOR TECHNICIAN ROCK TOOLS Location: Arequipa \- Lima Position Purpose:* Provide comprehensive technical support to the Supervisor and Client of Drilling Steel Contracts. Functions:* Meet the performance indicators outlined in the assigned Tools Contract Work Plan. * Apply and implement controls for drilling accessories: marking and sharpening of drill bits, tracking of operational times and drilling effectiveness. * Accurately, transparently, confidentially, and securely evaluate consumed drilling accessories at the end of each month. * Timely report early discard of drilling steels for inclusion in the evaluation (monitoring breakage and wear of drilling steels). * Submit monthly closing reports with KPIs for each drilling accessory to the Client and Sandvik Management. * Report and maintain steel stock levels at the mining unit. * Maintain accurate inventory records and send a weekly Kardex report to the Inventory Planner. Requirements:* Graduate Technician in Mining Operations, Mining Geology, Heavy Machinery Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering or related fields, and/or Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines. * Minimum of 2 or more years of experience in similar roles. * Willingness and availability to travel to other provinces. * Intermediate level of English language proficiency (desirable).
