Electrical Designer

Position Summary: We are seeking a Mining Project Designer with CAD/3D experience to develop, update, and coordinate drawings and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and effective communication. Key Highlights: 1. Experience with CAD and 3D software in mining projects. 2. Interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure design criteria. 3. Development of single-line diagrams and equipment layouts. * Develop and update design drawings, construction details, and technical schematics using CAD software and/or 3D tools. * Develop models and documents in AutoCAD, Aveva E3D, SmartPlant, or other platforms as required by the project. * Coordinate with discipline engineers to ensure deliverables reflect defined design criteria. * Review and control drawing and associated documentation versions, ensuring traceability and compliance with standards. * Identify interferences, inconsistencies, and opportunities for design improvement. * Support preparation of quantity take-offs, material take-off lists (MTO), and technical specifications. * Participate in interdisciplinary model reviews where applicable. * Ensure compliance with international standards, client standards, and company internal procedures. * Maintain effective communication with the project team, contractors, and other technical disciplines. * Professional with a technical or university degree in electrical engineering. * Minimum 8 years of experience as a designer in mining projects. * Must be capable of developing single-line diagrams, equipment layouts, and auxiliary installations in industrial plants, and preparing material take-off lists and quantity surveys. * Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD. * Advanced knowledge of E3D modeling software. * Intermediate knowledge of Office applications. * Technical English proficiency. * Proactive, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
