The WTP Project consists of two of the largest acid water treatment plants in South America (the western plant will have a capacity of 3\.000 and the eastern one 2\.700 m3/hour). Early works are currently underway at the site, preparing permanent platforms and storage areas for the East and West plants, as well as Class 2 estimate, Level 3 schedule, and Execution Plan. **Position Summary:** ----------------------- This role will be responsible for performing and supporting basic to moderately complex logistics activities in support of project requirements to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of goods to meet project needs. This position will report to the project Logistics Lead and will also have a functional reporting line to Bechtel Global Logistics (BGL). **Key Responsibilities:** ---------------------------------- * Coordinate shipments with required internal and external entities to ensure safe and timely delivery of materials and equipment from the supplier's delivery point to the work site. * Ensure timely entry of shipment milestone data into Bechtel’s Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS) to provide visibility into shipment status of consignments. * Assist in filing and resolving claims with logistics service providers (LSPs). * Assist in preparing logistics studies, including visits to supplier and manufacturer facilities as needed. * Integrate safety requirements and measures into all logistics activities. * Plan, develop, coordinate, and review procurement work within a discipline on projects. * Coordinate and interact with day-to-day activities of project team members, discipline groups, and assist the Logistics Lead when requested. * Compile and maintain data for group performance metric reporting and conduct due diligence studies as requested. * Provide on-the-job training to procurement specialists as necessary. Bechtel policies, procedures, and supply chain instructions. **Requirements: Education and Experience:** ---------------------------------------- Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or related academic background required, along with a minimum of 5\-7 years of relevant experience. **Required Knowledge and Skills:** ------------------------------------------- * Relevant education and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. * Bechtel logistics procedures (Supply Chain School preferred). * BGL corporate agreements.
