On behalf of our client in the southern region, we are currently seeking a Chemical Laboratory Supervisor. **Job Description** * Lead personnel responsible for daily operations to ensure work quality, providing administrative and technical direction, complying with policies, standards and procedures established by bambas regarding safety, environment, health and quality. * Knowledge of balances and applied statistics in mineral processing * Be responsible for compliance with legal regulations, internal bambas standards, and internal work regulations. * Plan and assign work tasks to subordinates according to customer priorities and required work situations. * Supervision and/or execution of Metallurgical Tests: * Copper \& Molybdenum Flotation Tests * Comminution Tests: Bond Work Index, SGI and Abrasion Index. * Sedimentation Tests (Flocculant and/or Coagulant) * Particle Size Analysis (Grinding \& Flotation) * Metallurgical tests for reagent evaluation (Collectors, Frothers, flocculants, ceramic media). * Hydrodynamic characterization of bulk plant flotation cells (Use of Bubble Sizer). * Planning and sampling in Concentrator Plant * Grinding circuit: SAG Mill, Ball Mill, Pebble Crusher, Vibrating Screen (Under Screen / Over Screen), Cyclone cluster (feed underflow and overflow). * Bulk flotation circuit (overall or staged sampling Ro‐Scv, regrind stage, cleaner stage). * Moly flotation circuit (overall or staged sampling Ro‐Scv, regrind stage, cleaner stage). * Sampling in concentrate storage areas and emergency ponds for monthly concentrator plant inventory. * Continuously identify and report to the laboratory manager any accidents, incidents, unsafe acts and conditions observed during operations or assigned activities. **Requirements** * Professional degree, licensed and registered in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions. * Valid driver's license class AI or higher. * Knowledge of sampling and metallurgical testing. * Knowledge of metallurgical tests and mineral processing. * Knowledge of sampling and sample preparation. * Experience in process control, crushing, grinding, flotation, thickening and filtration circuits. * Experience in developing metallurgical balances for grinding, collective and selective Cu\-Mo flotation. **Additional Information** * Official employment from day one. * Legal life insurance. * Corporate agreements.
