The **Nexa Expert\+ Program** is an exclusive development program for recent engineering graduates seeking to build a solid, specialized career in the refining field. Over 24 months, participants will join our operational units, work in technical areas, and engage in structured development activities—all designed to accelerate their progression toward a specialized career. We seek candidates who graduated within the last two years in Chemical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering—curious individuals, results-oriented, and passionate about industrial operations. **Join Nexa and be part of the mining industry that moves with the world!** **** **Responsibilities and Authorities** * Strictly comply with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) procedures in production areas, applying Nexa’s corporate tools (ORT, OPT, APR, PETAR, ATS, and work permits), actively participating in incident investigations, and proposing improvements to strengthen safety culture. * Participate in the business’s strategic projects, ensuring alignment, technical feasibility, and direct contribution to operational results. * Attend specialized training in technical skills to strengthen readiness for assuming greater responsibilities. * Actively analyze and resolve critical problems across all project phases, contributing technical judgment and proposals to support continuous improvement. * Contribute directly and proactively to implementing the Vector program, ensuring adoption of its practices and tools in management projects. * Implement advanced data analytics tools (Power BI, databases, dashboards, and AI) to support decision-making and optimize operational performance. * Participate in formal mentoring and coaching activities aimed at strengthening behavioral competencies and accelerating professional development. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Academic Background:** * Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering obtained within the last two years (mandatory). * Licensed and currently registered with the College of Engineers of Peru (preferred). **Desired Technical Skills:** * Basic knowledge of metallurgical processes and operations management in industrial plants. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Ability to interpret key operational performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct data analysis. **Differentiators:** * Professional internship experience in an industrial plant. * Intermediate level of English and Portuguese. * Experience in continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing projects. **Additional Information** * Willingness to work on-site at the Cajamarquilla Refinery (Lurigancho \- Chosica). * Willingness to work rotating shifts. * Willingness to travel to our operational units. **For Internal Candidates:** * Employees with GS 29 Peru who meet all mandatory university education requirements and are available for travel to operational units. * Internal employees approved in the selection process will be fully dedicated to the program, with no possibility of returning to their previous department/position. * A structured performance review will be conducted over the 24 months, alongside other selected candidates. * Prior to application, internal candidates must mandatorily align with their direct managers regarding their application.
