Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting a Structural Engineer to join our Asset Optimization business line in the Lima office. ### **Position Purpose** Ensure the reliability, availability, and safety of critical structures in mining operations (concentrator plants, tailings dams, conveyor belts, crushers, industrial buildings, among others), through the implementation of structural integrity management programs, inspections, risk assessments, and mitigation plans aligned with international standards and local regulations. **About the Role** * Lead visual, non-destructive (NDT), and structural monitoring programs using advanced instrumentation. * Implement sensorization technologies (IoT, drones, remote monitoring) for early failure detection. * Conduct structural risk assessments (FMEA, RBI, RCM applied to structures). * Issue technical reports and recommendations to extend asset life. * Validate structural designs, repairs, and relevant modifications. * Ensure compliance with Peruvian regulations (DS 132, Sernageomin, Mintrab) and international standards (ISO 55000, API, ACI, ASME). * Promote a culture of structural safety throughout the organization. **About You** * Structural or Civil Structural Engineer. * Postgraduate degree desirable in Asset Integrity, Risk Management, or Maintenance. * 8+ years of experience in mining or heavy industries (petrochemical, energy, infrastructure). * Proven experience in managing integrity of critical structures. * Knowledge of national and international structural design and assessment regulations. * Structural inspection and monitoring methods (NDT, SHM, ultrasound, vibrations, drones). * Risk management, Lean methodologies, and reliability tools. * Structural modeling software (ANSYS, SAP, Abaqus, or others). **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth and aim to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
