




Company Description \-Anglo American, in partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation, is developing the Quellaveco mining operation, one of the world's largest copper deposits, located in the Moquegua region in southern Peru. Quellaveco will have a reserve life of 30 years. It will use open-pit mining and flotation processes to produce copper concentrates, as well as molybdenum and silver as by-products. Quellaveco is expected to produce an average of 300,000 tonnes of copper per year during its first 10 years of operation. Job Description \-At Anglo American we are looking for a Sustainable Procurement Analyst. * Identify and manage local procurement opportunities through close coordination with PEM. * Design and monitor specific requirements and conditions for tendering and contracting processes that ensure greater opportunities and conditions that guarantee better local procurement outcomes while minimizing associated social risks. * Identify, create and monitor social impact opportunities through timely implementation of the Social Management Plan in coordination with Social Management and Supply Chain teams. * Identify, generate, monitor and analyze relevant data on local supply and Sustainable Procurement processes to create better and greater direct and indirect local procurement opportunities. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Monitor and analyze the plan and commercial information, identifying potential opportunities for direct and indirect procurement. * Participate in meetings with user areas, led by the Sustainable Procurement Commercial Advisor, to identify and channel key information to be gathered from the local supply base to verify, size and design appropriate local opportunities according to context. * Manage the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the integrated data system (PEM, Performance, Sustainable Procurement Advisors, PGS, etc.) * Generate executive reports and a Sustainable Procurement dashboard to enable timely decision-making. * Coordinate with contractors, user areas and social management to define needs or requests for the social management plan from the tendering process, as well as monitor compliance. * Close coordination and collaborative work with the sustainable procurement commercial advisor across various processes enabling viable direct and indirect local procurement opportunities, such as: * Challenge service requirements to ensure they are suitable to local realities and AAQ's needs. * Adapt and evaluate Sustainable Procurement envelopes in tenders. * Identify and monitor the performance of opportunities to be published on PEM according to assumed social commitments, identifying process improvements. * Monitor that proper documentation is generated to provide feedback to local entrepreneurs on the results of commercial processes. **SHE FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Know and apply Anglo American Quellaveco's values, principles and SHE Policy, contributing to its zero harm vision. * Ensure that control measures for SHE hazards and risks related to assigned activities are implemented at the workplace to enable safe operations. * Comply with internal Management System standards, procedures and regulations; actively participate in training, awareness and Zero Harm culture development meetings. * Promptly report unsafe acts and conditions, as well as incidents. **Qualifications \-EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS** * Undergraduate studies, preferably in business, business administration, engineering, finance, project management or commerce, ideally with specialization. * Advanced English (Essential) **EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE** * 3 to 5 years of professional experience in local procurement within extractive industries or related programs. * Knowledge of commercial processes and supply chain * Proficiency in analysis and reporting tools: Advanced Excel, Power BI, SAP, Ariba. * Knowledge of sustainable development policies and responsible sourcing * Knowledge of information systems and/or indicator development * Knowledge of business development processes **RELEVANT INFORMATION** * Role location: Lima (with availability to travel to site when required) * Work schedule: 5x2 * Permanent contract * Application deadline: **24/10/2025** Additional Information \-Our company is our people, and we have no doubts about our top priority: doing everything we can to ensure the safety and well-being of our workers.
