We are currently seeking qualified personnel for the position of **Welder Mechanic** in the **Maintenance** department. The main objective of this role is to carry out electrical, preventive, and corrective maintenance on equipment in concentrator plants to ensure high-quality maintenance across all processes and physical facilities. **Requirements:** * Graduate or technical degree in mechanical maintenance, welding, production, or related fields. * Possess valid certified welding qualification (3G or 4G). * Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles within the mining industry, combining both positions. * Experience in equipment maintenance and installation in concentrator plants. * Knowledge of concentrator plant processes or flow sheets. * Familiarity with welding processes such as SMAW, FACW, TIG, etc. * Availability to work at U.M. in Trujillo. * Work schedule regime of 14x7. **Responsibilities:** * Carry out preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance tasks in the concentrator plant according to established parameters and with supervisor authorization. * Analyze and resolve equipment and instrument failures in the plant process in the shortest possible time. * Prepare technical specification lists for critical spare parts for each plant process, considering potential hidden process failures. * Perform field and workshop repairs of structures and components by welding, optimizing resource usage. * Prepare and organize equipment, support materials, and tools required for the job, taking into account working area conditions. * Inspect and maintain tools in operational condition. * Interpret assembly and detail drawings for fabrication and/or installation in workshop or field environments. * Report completed work orders to the immediate supervisor with required details and accurate information to build equipment and instrument histories for decision-making. * Support the immediate supervisor in implementing and/or updating procedures for equipment maintenance and new activities. * Verify clearance of the work area and/or equipment before handover. * Attend scheduled technical training, safety courses, audits, certifications, and environmental programs as per the Training Plan. * Actively participate in promoting a culture of efficiency and cost savings in plant equipment maintenance processes. * Maintain order and cleanliness of the work area (before, during, and after tasks). * Report any incidents or accidents to the immediate supervisor.
