**FUNCTIONS:** **1\.** Carry out the replacement or repair of components that present failures in their operation, by mechanical means or through welding procedures, on plant equipment **2**. Inspect the overall operation of equipment in operation at the processing plant, identifying components or parts that need to be repaired or replaced, recording required spare parts in the work order. **3\.** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment. **4\.** Verify the condition and status of machinery or plant equipment before carrying out mechanical maintenance tasks, using checklists. **5\.** Report immediately to the Plant Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor upon completion of maintenance work, including details of the tasks performed (including operational tests) related to equipment repairs. **6\.** Assemble, install, and commission mechanical equipment. **7**. Fabricate and/or join mechanical components for maintenance and assembly of electromechanical installations. \- Manage and monitor safety standards. **8**. Know and apply the Internal Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. **9\.** Use all personal protective equipment required as a condition for presence at work. **10\.** Report any situations that could pose risks to Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and the Environment. **11\.** Comply with the Internal Workplace Safety and Health Regulations – Internal Work Regulations.
