**Job Description** A company with over 25 years in the small-scale mining industry, based on leadership, planning, and social focus, is seeking a DESORPTION PLANT OPERATOR. * **Requirements:** Completed secondary education, technical or university degree in metallurgy or related field. * 2 years of experience as a desorption plant operator in mineral processing plants. * Strong knowledge of gold concentrate desorption and smelting processes. * Experience in chemical and thermal reactivation of activated carbon. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. **Responsibilities:** * Operate and maintain desorption and smelting equipment. * Operate and maintain mineral processing equipment. * Receive, load, unload, and perform representative sampling of activated carbon and ore. * Carry out the chemical and thermal reactivation process of activated carbon. * Monitor mineral product quality. * Perform preventive maintenance tasks. * Conduct intermediate controls (cyanide strength and pH). * Perform auric sludge smelting. * Harvest precipitate (gold and silver). * Perform pre-screening and screening of activated carbon and fine carbon. * Comply with safety and environmental regulations. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor related to the position. **Conditions:** Payroll inclusion with all legal benefits.
